Responding to Hurricane Helene

As communities across the Southeast deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, EAF is here to help. If you were in the storm's path and need assistance, click on Apply for a Grant. If you want to be of assistance to YMCA staff and alumni in need, click on Donate Now.

The YMCA Emergency Assistance Fund provides financial support to Y professionals and retirees in their hour of need.

We are pleased to announce that applications will reopen, under new staff eligibility guidelines (retiree eligibility remains the same). Effective, April 24, 2023 all current YMCA staff with six (6) months of verified employment in good standing will be eligible to apply for EAF grants. (Learn more) We will keep applications open until funds are exhausted.

We know how generously Y professionals and members of YMCA Alumni give of their time to others. By donating to EAF, we can strengthen our ability to be there for each other.

If you'd rather donate by check, mail your donation to:

If you want it to count toward your YPN or YMCA Alumni Chapter’s total be sure to note that on the check in the memo.

EAF helps YMCA staff and retirees in their time of need.  We can't do this without your support.  Will you help us support our YMCA colleagues with the assistance they need?
